About this case

SURGERY November 2015
Kait is in her mid seventies.
Her teeth are a complete disaster since years. Pain is part of daily live. To eat is a nightmare. Food is carefully choosen. The bridge on the remaining implants are loose. The implants one by one break down. Kait is surrounded by a strong and caring family. Keit visited many different colleques, and all very reserved in the possibilities.
Dr Defrancq proposed Keit zygoma implants in the upper jaw, and regular implants in the lower jaw, all in the time frame of an immediate loading (one week). The upper jaw indeed was destroyed by the previous surgeries, and the choices were limited: zygoma implants or extensive bone grafts. Zygoma implants can be loaded immediately.... a massive advantage for suffering Kait.
